The 2022 Two Sisters Riesling is carefully crafted using exclusively fruit from the Parkway Vineyard in the unique Niagara River sub-appellation. The grapes were hand harvested and whole cluster pressed, then fermented at low temperatures to preserve the fresh aromatics of the exceptional fruit.
Some lees were included in the stainless steel ageing to add texture and character. The result is an amazing riesling with pronounced varietal character, showing vibrant aromatics of ripe fruit and honey. Citrus, mango, peach and a lovely minerality, along with a pronounced honeyed character, dominate the nose. On the palate the Two Sisters Riesling has a luscious sweetness and is perfectly balanced with vivid acidity. There are prominent flavours of green apple, lime and grapefruit, mango, papaya and peach. The honey notes surface beautifully during the tasting, and the minerality is delightfully present in the long finish.
